What will the person in this role be doing?
This role is responsible for managing client relationships and coordinating programmatic digital media campaigns from start to finish. The account manager works with management, sales, strategists and campaign operations to ensure the campaign is delivering and meeting client objectives while maintaining exceptional customer service. Beyond client and campaign management, this role will also be responsible for renewal and ongoing growth of assigned accounts.
-Cultivating client relationships towards contract renewal and ongoing loyalty within assigned accounts
-Working with the Marketing team to coordinate and monitor the customer journey
-Collaborating with Media Services and Marketing teams to advance research, strategy and campaign success
-Scheduling and driving weekly account status meetings, team updates, and client calls/meetings, as needed
-Ensuring campaigns deliver in full, on time and in budget
-Communicating with clients throughout the entire campaign process delivering status updates, performance reports and analysis
-Managing all campaign related inquiries, and pass along all relevant information to appropriate stakeholders
-Proactively communicating potential issues, concerns or roadblocks to appropriate stakeholders
-Developing thoughtful programmatic media plans that align with the customer’s campaign objectives
Stay current with market trends and best practices within the digital media landscape (supply, demand and ad tech)
Pursue ongoing educational and development opportunities including reading professional publications, seminars and participating in professional organizations
Contribute to the company’s customer success strategy and work with leadership to develop and refine the customer experience, marketing activities, and supporting systems
What skills and tools will be utilized in this role?
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-1+ year experience in digital advertising or digital marketing
-Familiarity with online ad formats and specs including video, mobile and native
-Experience working with DSPs and ad servers is preferred
-Familiarity with RTB, private marketplace and programmatic direct
-Familiarity with website tracking tags (Conversion and retargeting)
-Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
-Analytical thinking and quantitative skills
-Exceptional computer skills
-Ability to thrive in a fast growing, entrepreneurial start-up environment
